Service Projects

		Guild Service Projects The TCQG has a long history of community service. Making quilts, fundraising, and community outreach are a fundamental part of the guild's mission. Recently, our 2009 Traditions & Beyond Quilt show featured "Project Iron Quilter," a fundraiser for the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes, which raised $1680. Our 2007 show featured "Postcards for the Charity of your Choice" which raised over $900. We lend support to local efforts to create quilting projects with and for children such as 4-H and "Judy's Day." Every year we send quilts to different organizations that serve babies and children.
